What is Sensuality?
Sensuality is a really slow practice of orienting toward what feels good in the moment, what feels supportive, what feels nourishing, what feels beautiful and inspiring.
Sensuality is really just dropping into the present moment, tuning into your senses, and noticing what you can notice, what you can receive in this moment through your senses.
And what that teaches the body is, “hey, we’re actually okay, we’re safe here in this moment.”
And “oh, now that I’m safe, look at that, look at how much pleasure I can actually experience right now that I’ve slowed down and taken the time to receive my surroundings, and to drop in and connect a little bit deeper into my body.”
This is a trauma-informed approach to building safety and sensitivity in the body.
It’s this beautiful relationship that Sensuality & Somatics share together... to experience more sensuality, we regulate and to regulate, we practice sensuality. 🤍
